So I've decided to start a blog! I actually started it all up back in April and promptly forgot about it. I've titled this blog "Mommy on the Move" which of course means just that...I'm an Air Force wife and mother of one sweet little boy. We're currently stationed at home in Alaska but are leaving far too soon for New Mexico. I'm assuming that if you're reading this then you know at least a little bit about me but just in case there are any stumblers here I'll give a brief "about me" :)
I'm Blair, a 24 year old mother of one and wife of Nathaniel. He and I met in high school and started dating right away. We dated for several years and FINALLY got married. January 23, 2010 was the happiest day of our lives!! Until August 14, 2011. That was the day we found out that our little family was about to get a lot bigger! On April 8, 2012 our son, Caden Nathaniel was born. Now that was the happiest day of our lives! That little boy is the light of our lives. I just can't get enough of him!! Some days I want to put myself in time out (like today) but I adore being his mother and would never trade this path. There's much more to me than just being Caden's mommy but you'll have to stay tuned for all that :)
Nathaniel joined the Air Force in April 2010 and our first assignment was back in Alaska, our home!! We were so happy! But we've been here for three years and now it's time to go. Time for a new adventure. Time for new places, new faces, new sights to see. We're very excited but very sad to have to leave this place. This state holds so many wonderful memories...I got my first car here (a 1999 red Kia Sephia--loved that piece of crap), my very first kiss (from Nathaniel of course!), graduated high school, our first house together, all our leisurely walks, days spent basking in God's beauty, our son was born here...my heart hurts at the thought of leaving. But thus is the life of a "Mommy on the Move".
Sooo, disclaimer* this is my first blog so hopefully I can keep up with it! I have a feeling I'll go blog crazy and post everyday for a while and then I'll get busy and forget. I will do MY ABSOLUTE BEST but no guarantees ;)

ReplyDeleteYep, Candy we're moving this Fall:( Excited but very sad. We'll be back though! Alaska is in our blood, there's no saying goodbye forever, not for us.
